- Production of a tourism promotion video
As a participant of Tokyo Volunteers 2020, we want to learn more about Chiba and be able to communicate with foreigners who are visiting Japan. For this purpose, we are making a video and uploading it.
In order to provide this service, it was necessary to create a mechanism, so we created a dedicated Team Nexus website.
We produce the videos in both English and Japanese at the same time. The videos will be uploaded to the website so that you can easily view them on your computer or smartphone by entering the URL.

- Selection and editing of photos and videos
We select which photos to use for this video from the ones we have photographed. We will also do some editing as necessary. For the movie, we use a video editing application to remove the unnecessary parts.
- Narration creation
Narration is a powerful way to add impact to your videos.
Narration can be done either by a person speaking into a microphone or using a computer.
Here we are going to create a Voiceover using text-to-speech. The application to use is JukeDox3 Expert.
- Selection of BGM
"Background music“ or BGM is the music that plays in the background of a video. In the world of filmmaking, you may want to hire a composer to create background music for your film. But this is not an option for personal videos. So, we select the royalty free music available and insert it according to the scene.
- Production of video files
As we will be uploading the video to our website, we need to pay special attention to the size of the video. Although we would like to show high resolution and beautiful images, we have to take into account that viewing them on a Smart Phone means that we have to use low resolution videos maybe necessary.
